Novus Biologicals releases new mTOR pathway poster

This week Novus Biologicals unveiled their first poster on the mTOR pathway.   One of Novus’ major focuses of 2010 is the creation of pathway posters.  These posters provide researchers with a detailed visual of molecular pathways and also the products that Novus provides to targets within these pathways.   The mTOR poster is 18 x 24 inches in size and comes in a 4-fold format for ease of handling.

mTOR (Mammalian Target of Rapamycin), also known by its gene name FRAP1, is a serine/threonine kinase that effects cell growth and proliferation via the regulation of protein synthesis. The mTOR pathway is regulated by a wide variety of cellular signals, including mitogenic growth factors, hormones, nutrients, cellular energy levels, and stress conditions such as hypoxia.  Novus' mTOR pathway poster displays the intricate molecular relationships between these cellular signals.  The poster also displays some of Novus' top antibodies implicated in the mTOR pathway such as:

Novus will continually release new molecular pathway posters throughout the year.   For more information on these pathway posters or to request a copy of the mTOR pathway poster, please contact Novus Biologicals by calling 303-730-1950 or via e-mail at
