TRPM7 Antibody (JE38-36)

Western Blot: TRPM7 Antibody (JE38-36) [NBP3-33061] - Western blot analysis of TRPM7 on different lysates with Rabbit anti-TRPM7 antibody (NBP3-33061) at 1/1,000 dilution. Lane 1: HeLa cell lysate Lane 2: K-562 cell lysate Lane 3: HepG2 cell lysate Lane 4: HCT 116 cell lysate Lysates/proteins at 20 ug/Lane. Predicted band size: 213 kDa Observed band size: 250 kDa Exposure time: 1 minute 55 seconds; 4-20% SDS-PAGE gel. Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-33061) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at 4C overnight. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:100,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Flow Cytometry: TRPM7 Antibody (JE38-36) [NBP3-33061] - Flow cytometric analysis of HeLa cells labeling TRPM7. Cells were washed twice with cold PBS and resuspend. Then stained with the primary antibody (NBP3-33061, 1ug/ml) (red) compared with Rabbit IgG Isotype Control (green). After incubation of the primary antibody at +4℃ for an hour, the cells were stained with a iFluor™ 488 conjugate-Goat anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary antibody at 1/1,000 dilution for 30 minutes at +4℃. Unlabelled sample was used as a control (cells without incubation with primary antibody; black).

Background

The TRPM7 (Transient Receptor Protein-PhosphoLipase C-Interacting Kinase) protein is a member of the ion channel proteins. It regulates the calcium concentration in cells, which is imperative for such functions as muscle contractions and neuronal firing. TRPM7, however, is unique among the TRP channel proteins because it is bi-functional. It not only controls ion channels but it also acts as a kinase by phosphorylating proteins.
