A synthetic peptide from the 2d extracellular loop of human TRPC1 conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the immunogen. The antigen is homologous in rat and mouse.

Background
FUNCTION: Thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permanent cation channel. Probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. Seems to be also activated by intracellular calcium store depletion. SUBUNIT: Interacts with TRPC3. Interacts with ITPR3. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Seems to be ubiquitous.

FAQs for TRPC1 Antibody (NB100-98844). (Showing 1 - 1 of 1 FAQs).
I am very interested in your anti-TRPC1 antibody NB100-98844. I would like to know the epitope of this antibody before purchasing. I did not find this information on the website. Can you please provide me with the information?
Our TRP1 antibody with catalogue number NB100-98844 was raised to a synthetic peptide derived from the second extracellular loop (within amino acids 500-540) of the human protein (Please see Uniprot Site) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein. As we do not routinely epitope map our antibodies I am unable to provide any additional information regarding the exact binding of NB100-98844 to TRP1.
