CD105, commonly referred to as Endoglin, ENG, HHT1, and ORW1 is a membrane single-pass type I membrane protein limited to endothelial cells in all tissues except bone marrow. It is a major glycoprotein of vascular endothelium and plays a major role in the regulation of angiogenesis. CD105 acts as a TGF-beta coreceptor and is involved in the TGF-beta/BMP signaling cascade. Mutations involving CD105 have been shown to be involved with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, as well interruptions of the TGF-beta/BMP pathways leading to some cancers. Immunohistochemistry has shown that CD105 has a very high expression in blood vessels of tumors, making it a potential target that can be used in tumor imaging (PMID: 12773481). Elevated serum levels of CD105 in pregnant women have been determined a possible risk factor for preeclampsia (PMID: 24273904).

FAQs for Endoglin/CD105 Antibody (NB100-77666). (Showing 1 - 2 of 2 FAQ).
I wonder if you have a CD105 or CD34 antibody suitable for IHC that is specific for human and do not bind mouse?
We do not have any anti-human CD34 or CD105 antibodies that are confirmed to NOT detect the mouse protein. When we have tested an antibody and confirmed that it will not react with mouse samples, we will add Mu(-) to the datasheet, and unfortunately all of our CD105 and CD34 antibodies will either detect the mouse protein, or they have not been used in mouse samples before.
We are interested in CD105 antibodies that could react with dog, please let me know which products in your catalog you would recommend.
We do not currently carry any CD105 antibodies that have been validated for use in dog samples. However, if you are interested in testing any of our CD105 antibodies with dog samples you would be eligible for our Innovators Reward Program, in which you can get a discount voucher for the purchase price of the product. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions regarding this program.
The concentration calculator allows you to quickly calculate the volume, mass or concentration of your vial. Simply enter your mass, volume, or concentration values for your reagent and the calculator will determine the rest.
