BRIP1/FANCJ Antibody

Western Blot: BRIP1/FANCJ Antibody [NBP1-31883] - Whole cell extract (30 ug) was separated by 5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with FANCJ antibody [N1N2], N-term diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody, and the signal was developed with Trident ECL plus-Enhanced.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: BRIP1/FANCJ Antibody [NBP1-31883] - 293T cells were fixed in 2% paraformaldehyde/culture medium at 37 degrees C for 30 min. Green: BRIP1 protein stained by FANCJ antibody [N1N2], N-term diluted at 1:500. Blue: Hoechst 33343 staining.

Background

BRIP1 (also called BACH1) is a helicase that interacts with the BRCT domain of BRCA1 and has a role in BRCA1-dependent DNA repair and checkpoint. BRIP1 has recently been found to be defective in Fanconi anemia complementation group J. BRIP1/FANCJ has a function in the Fanconi anemia pathway that is independent of BRCA1 and downstream of FANCD2 activation.
