ProteinSimple - Simple Western Certified

The Bio-techne brands Novus Biologicals, R&D Systems, and ProteinSimple have teamed up to certify hundreds of primary antibodies on ProteinSimple's "Simple Western" platforms.  Simple Western is a hands-free, gel-free, mess-free alternative to the traditional western blot. 

Between Novus Biologicals and R&D Systems, over 1,000 antibodies have been tested in Simple Western and have recieved our "Badge of Honor". Keep an eye out for badged antibodies on our website, or filter your antibody search by choosing "Simple Western" in the applications menu.

Detection of Human Cytokeratin 19 by Western Blot. Western blot shows detection of Cytokeratin 19 in untreated MCF-7 Lysate. The nitrocellulose membrane was probed with a Rabbit Anti-Human/Cytokeratin 19 Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # NBP1-78278, Novus Biologicals). A specific band was detected for Cytokeratin at approximately 40 kDa (as indicated). See full datasheet

Detection of Human Cytokeratin 19 by Simple Western. Simple Western lane view shows a specific band between 40-45 kDa for Cytokeratin 19 tested in 0.05 mg/mL of untreated MCF-7 Lysate using a Rabbit Anti-Human/Cytokeratin 10 Antibody (Catalog # NBP1-78278, Novus Biologicals). This experiment was performed under reducing conditions using the 12-230 kDa separation system. See full datasheet.

Detection of Human/Mouse/Rat HSP60 by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line, MCF 7 human breast cancer cell line, NIH 3T3 mouse embryonic fibroblast cell line, and Nb2 11 rat lymphoma cell line. A specific band was detected for HSP60 (Catalog # AF1800, R&D Systems) at approximately 62 kDa (as indicated). See full datasheet.
