![Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: Nestin Antibody (4D11) [NBP1-92717] - Mixed cultures of neonatal rat neurons and glia stained with NBP1-92717 (red), chicken antibody to Vimentin (NB300-223, green) and DNA (DAPI stain, blue). Astrocytes and neuronal stem cells stain strongly and specifically in a clearly filamentous fashion with the Nestin (4D11) antibody. The filamentous staining pattern is as expected as both Nestin and Vimentin are components of 10nm filaments. Note that some cells contain Nestin, but do not stain strongly for Vimentin and so appear red. Others contain Vimentin and not Nestin and so appear green - these are likely to be fibroblastic or endothelial cells. ![Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: LOX Antibody [NBP2-24877] - HeLa cells were fixed for 10 minutes using 10% formalin and then permeabilized for 5 minutes using 1X TBS + 0.5% Triton-X100. The cells were incubated with anti-LOX (NBP2-24877) at a 1:200 dilution overnight at 4C and detected with an anti-rabbit Dylight 488 (Green) at a 1:500 dilution. Alpha tubulin was used as a co-stain at a 1:1000 dilution and detected with an anti-mouse Dylight 550 (Red) at a 1:500 dilution. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue).
