Flow Cytometry: TROP-2 Antibody (001) [NBP2-89492] - Analysis of human TROP2 expression on MCF-7 cells. Cells were stained with purified anti-Human TROP2, then a FITC-conjugated second step antibody. The histogram were derived from gated events with the forward and side light-scatter characteristics of intact cells.

Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: TROP-2 Antibody (001) [NBP2-89492] - Immunofluorescence staining of TROP-2 in NCI-N87 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with NBP2-89492 (dilution ratio 1:60) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody [Alexa Fluor 488] (green) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Positive staining was localized to Cell membrane.

Background

TROP2 encodes a carcinoma-associated antigen defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733. This antigen is a member of a family including at least two type I membrane proteins. It transduces an intracellular calcium signal and acts as a cell surface receptor. Mutations of this gene result in gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by severe corneal amyloidosis leading to blindness. [provided by RefSeq]
