This antibody recognizes human Ang1 in western blot and IHC-Paraffin. For use in FFPE tissue, our recommended antigen retrival-treat the paraffin section with 20ug/ml Proteinase K (in PBS) for 15-25min.
Aliquot and store at -20C or -80C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
A 0.2 um filtered solution in PBS
Protein G purified
Reconstitute with 0.5 ml sterilized PBS to a final concentration of 0.2 mg/ml.
Alternate Names for Angiopoietin-1 Antibody (MM0019-26B10)
Angiopoietin 1 is one of the Angiopoietin (Ang) family of growth factors. It binds and activates the TIE2 receptor tyrosine kinase by inducing its tyrosine phosphorylation. It is implicated in endothelial developmental processes later and distinct from that of VEGF. The structure of angiopoietin-1 differs from that of known angiogenic factors or other ligands for receptor tyrosine kinases. Angiopoietin 1 appears to play a crucial role in mediating reciprocal interactions between the endothelium and surrounding matrix and mesenchyme. It also mediates blood vessel maturation/stability and it may play an important role in the heart early development.

FAQs for Angiopoietin-1 Antibody (NB110-85464). (Showing 1 - 1 of 1 FAQ).
How do you dissolve the lyophilized Ab? Water or PBS? The datasheet for NB110-85464 just says "Buffer: Lyophilized" - - in Water? Buffer? Concentration of Buffer? NB110-85467 says Lyophilized from a solution of PBS - again how to dissolve the Ab - which PBS and what concentration?
The IgG fraction of culture supernatant was purified by Protein G affinity chromatography and lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS). 100 ug antibody is lyophilized from 40 ul of 1 x PBS. We suggest reconstituting the antibody with 500 ul sterile 1 x PBS (or to be perfect, with 40 ul H2O plus 460 ul PBS), to give a final concentration of 200 ug/ml. Alternatively, you may reconstitute the antibody in 40 ul H2O if a small volume is preferred.
