Performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 55 kDa. Observed band size: 60 kDa

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: RNMT Antibody [NBP2-97644] - Immunofluorescence staining of RNMT in U2OS cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with NBP2-97644 antibody (dilution ratio 1:200) at 4C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor(R)488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to Nucleus.

Background

mRNA cap methyltransferase (HCM) catalyzes the N7 methylation of the cap formed by mRNA capping enzyme (HCE) to form a terminal 7-methylguanosine. This is subsequently recognised by cap binding proteins that facilitate key events in gene expression.
