Background

CLEC4G is a gene that codes for a protein that is 293 amino acids in length and has a weight of approximately 33 kDa. Current studies are being done on diseases and disorders linked to this gene including severe acute respiratory syndrome and hepatitis. CLEC4G has also been shown to have interactions with EIF3I, IFI35, ASGR1, CAPN1, and CPN1.

• Comments: ***Bio-Techne Response: This review was submitted through the legacy Novus Innovators Program, reflecting a new species or application tested on a primary antibody.*** Although is not described for its use in murine samples, we were able to perform an IHC of LSECtin in the mouse liver (first ones to our knowledge) using NBP1-82815 antibody (lot number R05063). Later batches of this antibody did not work in the same way nontheless (lot number 24211) Even when using highly concentrated antibody with longer periods of incubation when performing IHCs with NBP1-82815 (lot number 24211). It, still do not work as the previous batch.
