![Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: Ki67/MKI67 Antibody [NB110-89719] - IHC analysis of a formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section of mouse intestine using 1:200 dilution of rabbit anti-KI67 antibody. The staining was developed with HRP labeled anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody and DAB reagent, and nuclei of cells were counter-stained with hematoxylin. This antibody generated a specific nuclear staining in epithelial cells and the staining was more intense in the cells close to the bases of crypts. Astrocytes and neuronal stem cells stain strongly and specifically in a clearly filamentous fashion with the Nestin (4D11) antibody. The filamentous staining pattern is as expected as both Nestin and Vimentin are components of 10nm filaments. Note that some cells contain Nestin, but do not stain strongly for Vimentin and so appear red. Others contain Vimentin and not Nestin and so appear green - these are likely to be fibroblastic or endothelial cells. IHC was performed on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human adrenal sections (4 um) using a chromogen-based detection system (3,3'-Diaminobenzidine), which results in a positive brown staining.
