Background

TrkC (tyrosine kinase receptor C) is a receptor for neurotrophin-3. TrkC is a member of receptor tyrosine kinases and may have a role in proprioceptive neuron development. TrkC has been studied in relation to various diseases and disorders including leukemia, breast cancer, fibrosarcoma, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and several others.
