Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-TBL2 antibody NBP3-30167 (lot NBP3-30167-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. TBL2 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-TBL2.. For blotting immunoprecipitated TBL2, A305-081A was used at 0.4 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background

TBL2 encodes a member of the beta-transducin protein family. Most proteins of the beta-transducin family are involved in regulatory functions. This protein is possibly involved in some intracellular signaling pathway. This gene is deleted in Williams-Beuren syndrome, a developmental disorder caused by deletion of multiple genes at 7q11.23.
