Background

Phosphatase that dephosphorylates presqualene diphosphate (PSDP) into presqualene monophosphate (PSMP),suggesting that it may be indirectly involved in innate immunity. PSDP is a bioactive lipid that rapidly remodels topresqualene monophosphate PSMP upon cell activation.
