1. I recently purchased some IRAK4 recombinant protein. I was wondering if you could tell me whether or not this protein is phosphorylated.
   • This product is distributed by Novus for a Taiwanese company called Abnova. We do not perform any in-house testing or development of their products. This protein is produced in a cell-free wheat germ system with an N-terminal 26kDa GST-tag. Due to this expression system, in our experience, the proteins do not always undergo the same folding and post-translational modifications they might undergo in an endogenous cell. Abnova does not evaluate the phosphorylation status of their proteins.
