Background
IL17RA is a gene that codes for a widely expressed protein that functions as a receptor for IL17A (a proinflammatory cytokine secreted by T-lymphocytes) with low affinity, which suggests that additional components are necessary to induce signaling and has a length of 866 amino acids and a weight of approximately 96 kDa. Current studies are being done on several diseases and disorders related to this gene including rheumatoid arthritis, cat eye syndrome, candidiasis, pituitary adenoma, bronchiolitis, cystic fibrosis, Sjogren's syndrome, keratitis, myocarditis, hepatitis B, liver disease, gingivitis, and osteoarthritis. IL17RA has also been shown to have interactions with IL17F, IL17RE, UBC, and TRAF3IP2 in pathways such as the IL-21 signaling, NF-kappaB signaling, and cytokine production pathways.

-
I am now using your product NBP2-25271R. What is the excitation wavelength and the corresponding emission wavelength for dylight 550? When I used the emission wavelength of 576nm and 670 nm ,no detection of il17 present.
- The datasheet says that NBP2-25271R (IL-17 RA/IL-17 R Antibody (49M4D2) [DyLight 550]) has been only validated in WB and IHC-P with the human samples. For using this antibody besides the noted applications and species, the users will be automatically qualified for our Innovators' Reward Program; i.e. the next primary antibody free from us. Furthermore, the datasheet indicates that the excitation and emission wavelengths for DyLight 550 are 562 nm and 576 nm, respectively. Therefore for detecting signals that are produced by the dye, the input laser light should be set around 560 nm and the channel for detection of the emitted light of DL550 should be set at ~575nm (yellow color).
