Western Blot: ICAM-1/CD54 Antibody (MEM-111) [NB500-318] - ICAM-1 protein expression levels in rat lung tissue after the different treatments in each group. Immunoblotting showed increase in ICAM-1 after one course of paclitaxel compared with normal lung tissue; p < 0.01. These changes were reversed by using parecoxib in combination with paclitaxel, while the group that received parecoxib treatment alone resembled the Con group. Background

CD54 (ICAM1) is a 85-110 kDa single chain type 1 integral membrane glycoprotein with an extracellular domain of five immunoglobulin superfamily repeats, a transmembrane region and a cytoplasmic domain. It shares considerable amino acid sequence homology with ICAM3 and with ICAM2. ICAM1 is expressed by activated endothelial cells. It is detected on cells of many other lineages (e.g. epithelial cells, fibroblasts, chondrocytes, B lymphocytes, T lymphocytes (low), monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells and neutrophils, with lower levels that increase in inflammation. Also, ICAM1 is detected in some carcinoma and melanoma cells. Soluble ICAM1 is detectable in the plasma and is elevated in patients with various inflammatory syndromes. It is the receptor for rhinoviruses and malaria.

   • The correct storage temperature for NB500-318 is 4C.
3. Could you tell me which epitope recognizes NB500-318 antibody? I'm looking for some anti-equine antibody, but there is none, so I would like to compare epitope sequence of your anti-bovine antibody and horse ICAM1 sequence.
