Background

EVI1 (ecotropic viral integration site 1) was originally identified as a gene located in the integration site of ecotropic retroviruses in the mouse genome that resulted in myeloid tumors. EVI1 is a zinc finger transcription factor that plays an important role in development and leukemogenesis. It is an oncogene that can have effects on cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Chromosomal translocations involving EVI1 result in chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). Alternate names for EVI1 include AML1-EVI-1 fusion protein, PRDM3, and MDS1-EV1.

PVDF Membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Sheep Anti-Human/Mouse PRDM16 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF6295) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for PRDM16 at approximately 170 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 8.
PRDM16 was detected in immersion fixed frozen sections of mouse embryo (E13.5) using Sheep Anti-Human/Mouse PRDM16 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF6295) at 10 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (orange, upper panel; Catalog # NL010) and counterstained with DAPI (blue, lower panel). A specific band was detected for c-Abl at approximately 135 - 145 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
Simple Western lane view shows lysates of Jurkat human acute T cell leukemia cell line, loaded at 0.2 mg/mL. A specific band was detected for c‑Abl at approximately 149 kDa (as indicated) using 10 µg/mL of Goat Anti-Human c‑Abl Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF5414) followed by 1:50 dilution of HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF109).
