Collagen II antibody (clone 5B2.5) was used at 1:100 dilution for WB analysis of lysates from experiments involving chondrifying primary micromass cell cultures that were established from chicken embryos (Ross hybrid) of Hamburger-Hamilton stages 22–24. The cultures were treated or not with Pituitary Adenylate Cyclase Activating Polypeptide (PACAP) PACAP 1–38 and/or transient MS.

FAQs for Collagen II Antibody (NB600-844). (Showing 1 - 1 of 1 FAQs).

  1. We would like to know whether this ab could be used in IHC, could you please advise?
    • This antibody has not yet been validated in IHC by our lab. Only in IF and WB. The IF was run on cells and not tissues. Most likely though if the antibody stains cells there is a good chance it will also work in tissue, but we cannot guarantee this. We can recommend our Innovators Reward Program. Our Innovator's Reward is offered to reward researchers for testing new species and applications with our products. If testing on this antibody is performed on an untested species and/or application, and the results are shared, then the antibody is eligible for the Innovator's Reward. Under this program, Novus will provide you a credit of equal or lesser value on a future product of equal value in exchange for your new data in the form of an online review. The great thing is you are eligible even if the antibody doesn't work because the data is still useful to us.
