  Claudin-11 antibody used for IHC-P on transverse section of testes and longitudinal section from epididymis from six-week-old male C57BL/6J mice subjected to 2-week oral dose toxicity study treatment schedule. The immunostaining assay involved - antigen retrieval via boiling the sections for 15 min in 10mM sodium citrate buffer pH 6, primary antibody dilution of 1:100, signal detection with Histofine Simple Stain MAX-PO. In testes, Claudin-11 is expected to express at Sertoli cell tight junctions, wherein, it is considered as a marker for Sertoli cells and in the current study, clusters of cells in the testes as well as some cell aggregates/cell debris in the lumen of the epididymis representing sloughed off Sertoli cells were found positive for Claudin-11 (Figure 2).
