• Immunogen: Recombinant full-length human HPCA1 protein

• Specificity: This MAb recognizes a single chain, transmembrane, heavily glycosylated protein of 90-120kDa, which is identified as CD34. Its expression is a hallmark for identifying pluripotent hematopoietic stem or progenitor cells. Its expression is gradually lost as lineage committed progenitors differentiate. CD34 is a marker of choice for staining blasts in acute myeloid leukemia. In addition, CD34 is expressed by soft tissue tumors, such as solitary fibrous tumor and gastrointestinal stromal tumor. Its expression is also found in vascular endothelium. Additionally, it appears that proliferating endothelial cells express this molecule more than the non-proliferating endothelial cells. Anti-CD34 labels > 85% of angiosarcoma and Kaposi s sarcoma, but with a lower specificity.

  Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin 0.25 - 0.5 ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT; Staining of formalin-fixed tissues is enhanced by boiling tissue sections in 10mM Citrate Buffer, pH 6.0, for 10 - 20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. The 7mL size is a pre-diluted size and no additional dilutions are required before using this item for the intended application.

1. I wonder if you have a CD105 or CD34 antibody suitable for IHC that is specific for human and do not bind mouse?
   • We do not have any anti-human CD34 or CD105 antibodies that are confirmed to NOT detect the mouse protein. When we have tested an antibody and confirmed that it will not react with mouse samples, we will add Mu(-) to the datasheet, and unfortunately all of our CD105 and CD34 antibodies will either detect the mouse protein, or they have not been used in mouse samples before.
