recognises mouse aminopeptidase N (APN), a cell surface protein homologous with human CD13. In the mouse, CD13 is a non-covalently linked homodimer of approximately 150kD subunits expressed by a variety of cells including monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cell and veiled cells.

Background
Human CD13 is expressed on the majority of peripheral blood monocytes and granulocytes. It is also expressed by the majority of acute myeloid leukemias, chronic myeloid leukemias in myeloid blast crisis, a smaller percentage of lymphoid leukemias and myeloid cell lines. CD13 is also found in several types of non hematopoietic cells such as fibroblasts and endothelial cells and in a soluble form in blood plasma. CD13 is not expressed on B cells, T cells, platelets or erythrocytes. In the mouse, CD13 is a non-covalently linked homodimer of approximately 150kD subunits expressed by a variety of cells including monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cell and veiled cells. CD13 plays a role in biologically active peptide metabolism, in the control of growth and differentiation, in phagocytosis and in bactericidal/tumoricidal activities. CD13 also serves as a receptor for human coronaviruses (HCV).

FAQs for Aminopeptidase N/CD13 Antibody (NB100-63402). (Showing 1 - 2 of 2 FAQ).
I have a question regarding the CD13 antibody (R3-63) [R-Phycoerythrin] [NB100-63402]. What are Your recommendations for dissolving the lyophilized antibody (what medium and volume to use)?
We recommend dissolving the lyophilized antibody in 1mL of distilled water and to use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10x6 cells in 100ul.
Our customer purchased NB100-63402. She wants to know the total concentration when it diluted in 1ml DW.
The concentration of NB100-63402 has not been determined. The original amount of antibody conjugated is 0.25mg. For flow, we recommend using 10ul of the reconstituted antibody to label 10^6 cells in 100ul. However, all dilutions should be determined by the end user for optimal results.
The concentration calculator allows you to quickly calculate the volume, mass or concentration of your vial. Simply enter your mass, volume, or concentration values for your reagent and the calculator will determine the rest.
