Background

alpha Actinin 4, a member of the alpha Actinin family of cytoskeletal proteins, functions as an actin filament crosslinking protein. It has been shown to play a role in cell motility, endocytosis, and glomerular function. alpha Actinin 4 is thought to play a role in metatstasis
