C2C12 cells were treated with 100μM, 2mM & 10mM metformin for 48h. As positive control for the TUNEL assay C2C12 myoblasts were incubated with DNΑse I before staining and, as negative control, cells were stained with the label solution without the addition of the reaction enzyme terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT).
