This SCP1 antibody is useful for Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded and frozen sections. Use in chromatin immunoprecipitation reported in scientific literature (PMID 27486799). In Simple Western only 10 - 15 uL of the recommended dilution is used per data point. Background

Synaptonemal complex protein 1 is a major component of the transverse filaments of synaptonemal complexes (SCS), formed between homologous chromosomes during meiotic prophase. SCP1 is equired for normal assembly of the central element of the synaptonemal complexes, as well as for normal centromere pairing during meiosis.
