• Application Notes: IP successful usage on mouse protein is reported in scientific literature (PMID: 21478148). WB: ~ 75-85kDa bands observed in rat brain lysates (calculated MW of 81.5 kDa band according to human NP_001123539.1, 84.4 according to human NP_056086.2 and 83.3 according to rat NP_001102022.1). An additional band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 30 kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Background

This protein is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to cytoplasmic filaments. Its function has not been identified.
