TNFRH3 (Tumor necrosis factor receptor homolog 3; also TNFR superfamily member 26) is a 21 kDa (predicted) member of the TNF receptor superfamily. It appears to be concentrated in lymphoid cell types. Mature mouse TNFRH3 is a type I transmembrane protein that is 185 amino acid (aa) in length. It contains a 145 aa extracellular region and a 19 aa cytoplasmic domain. The extracellular region contains three TNFR-Cys repeats that characterize TNF receptors (aa 27‑143). Unlike two related TNF receptor homologs, TNFRH3 does not serve as a TRAIL decoy receptor. No ortholog to mouse TNFRH3 has been reported in human or rat.
