| Description | The human TGF-beta1 ELISA is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative detection of human TGF-beta1. |
| Specificity | The assay detects both natural and recombinant human TGF beta 1. The cross reactivity of TGF beta 2 and TGF beta 3, and of TNF beta, IL- 8, IL-6, IL-2, TNF alpha, IL-1 beta, IL-4, IFN gamma, IL-12p70, IL-5 and IL-10 was evaluated by spiking these proteins at physiologically relevant concentrations into serum. There was no cross reactivity detected. |

TGF-beta 1 - a versatile signaling molecule with roles in development and disease The transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) family consists of a wide variety of signaling proteins with roles in development. TGF-beta signaling controls growth, differentiation, and immune responses and is often misregulated in cancer. TGF-beta ... Read full blog post. |
