Background

PYGO1, also known as Pygopus homolog 1, is a 45kDa 419 amino acid protein. PYGO1 is involved in signal transduction through the Wnt pathway. Current research on PYGO1 is being conducted in relation to acute diarrhea and colorectal cancer. PYGO1 is linked to the WTN signaling pathway where it interacts with BCL9, LENG8, CTNNB1, SPTBN1 and GRB2.
