Background

MBNL2 encodes a C3H-type zinc finger protein, which is similar to the Drosophila melanogaster muscleblind B protein. Drosophila muscleblind is a gene required for photoreceptor differentiation. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants have been described but the full-length natures of only some have been determined. [provided by RefSeq]

Western Blot: Niemann-Pick C1 Antibody [NB400-148] - Protein expression analysis of normal and NPC-deficient cells after HIV-1 infection. Cells were uninfected or infected with VSVG-HIV-1 and harvested 96 h post-infection. NPC2, NPC1, and beta-actin protein expression was detected via Western blotting in uninfected and infected cells. Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: CUGBP1/CELF1 Antibody (3B1) [NB200-316] - IHC analysis of a formalin fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human spleen using 1:100 conc. of CUGBP1/CELF1 antibody on a Bond Rx autostainer (Leica Biosystems). The assay involved 30 minutes of heat induced antigen retrieval (HIER) using 10mM sodium citrate buffer (pH 9.0) and endogenous peroxidase quenching with peroxide block. The sections were incubated with primary antibody for 15 minutes and Bond Polymer Refine Detection (Leica Biosystems) with DAB was used for signal development followed by counterstaining with hematoxylin. Nuclear staining was observed in lymphocytes.
