FAQs for Lipolysis Stimulated Lipoprotein Receptor Antibody (NBP1-89631). (Showing 1 - 1 of 1 FAQs).

  1. In the datasheet of your antibody against the Lipolysis-stimulated lipoprotein receptor (NBP1-89631) you show a figure in which a immunohistochemistry staining is shown. Can you please give an explanation why the cytoplasm of the cells is stained? Because
    • Lipolysis Stimulated Lipoprotein Receptor/LSR is a 649 amino acids long (71.4 kDa) trans-membrane protein with Extracellular (aa 1-259), Helical (260-280) and Cytoplasmic (281 – 649) domains Uniprot Site . Please note that NBP1-89631 was generated against a peptide corresponding to aa 431-540 of human LSR, and this sequence falls within cytoplasmic domain of LSR protein. Accordingly, NBP1-89631 is expected to bind the cytoplasmic domain of LSR protein and in immunostaining assays, the expected staining pattern with this antibody would be cytoplasmic as shown in the validation image of its datasheet.
