NB100-64903 recognizes CD49d, also known as Integrin alpha 4, which associates with either CD29 (integrin beta 1) or integrin beta 7. CD49d is a 150kD molecule, which may be cleaved to 80kD and 70kD fragments. It is expressed by lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils and thymocytes. VLA-4 mediates cell adhesion to VCAM-1 and fibronectin. 44H6 induces homotypic aggregation.

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: Integrin beta 1/CD29 Antibody (P4C10) [NBP2-36561] - Integrin beta 1 (P4C10) antibody was tested in -20 degree MeOH fixed HeLa cells at a 1:200 dilution against DyLight 488 (green). Actin and nuclei were counterstained against Phalloidin 568 (red) and DAPI (blue), respectively.
