Application Notes
1. Capture Antibody: Dilute to a working concentration of 2 ug/ml in PBS before coating.
2. Detection Antibody: Dilute to working concentration of 0.15 ug/ml in detection antibody dilution buffer before use.
3. Standard: Reconstitute with 1 ml detection antibody dilution buffer. After reconstitution, store at -20C to -80C in a manual defrost freezer. A seven-point standard curve using 2-fold serial dilutions in sample dilution buffer, and a high standard of 300 pg/ml is recommended.

Background

Growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15) is a transforming growth factor beta superfamily member that acts to regulate inflammatory and apoptotic responses in injured or diseased tissues. GDF15 is most strongly expressed in the liver, placenta and kidney.

GDF15 antibodies are useful for studies on inflamation and immune system research.

Limitations

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Antibody Pairs are guaranteed for 6 months from date of receipt.
