FoxP4 Antibody (RAB-S40) - Chimeric - Azide and BSA Free

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: FoxP4 Antibody (RAB-S40) - Chimeric - Azide and BSA Free [NBP3-20153] - Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed HeLa cells on Shi-fix(TM) coverslips stained with the chimeric rabbit IgG version of RAB-S40 (NBP3-20153) at 10 ug/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor(R) 488 secondary antibody (2 ug/ml), showing membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue) and the actin stain is phalloidin (red). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom NBP3-20153, DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was an unknown specificity antibody followed by staining with Alexa Fluor(R) 488 secondary antibody.

Western Blot: FoxP4 Antibody (RAB-S40) - Chimeric - Azide and BSA Free [NBP3-20153] - Nuclear lysate of K562 cells (35ug protein in RIPA buffer) was resolved on a SDS PAGE gel and blots were probed with the chimeric rabbit version of RAB-S40 (NBP3-20153) at 0.01 ug/ml before detection using an anti-rabbit secondary antibody. A primary incubation of 1h was used and protein was detected by chemiluminescence.

Flow Cytometry: FoxP4 Antibody (RAB-S40) - Chimeric - Azide and BSA Free [NBP3-20153] - HepG2 cells were fixed using 2% PFA and stained with anti-unknown specificity antibody (isotype control, black line) or the rabbit IgG1 version of RAB-S40 (NBP3-20153, blue line) at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing, the bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-rabbit IgG AlexaFluor(R) 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000 and cells analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.

Background

FOXP4 belongs to subfamily P of the forkhead box (FOX) transcription factor family. Forkhead box transcription factors play important roles in the regulation of tissue- and cell type-specific gene transcription during both development and adulthood. Many members of the forkhead box gene family, including members of subfamily P, have roles in mammalian oncogenesis. This gene may play a role in the development of tumors of the kidney and larynx.
