Western Blot: Fibulin-3/EFEMP1 Antibody [NBP2-16277] - Non-transfected (-) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 ug) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with EFEMP1 antibody diluted at 1:5000. HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

Background

This gene spans approximately 18 kb of genomic DNA and consists of 12 exons. Alternative splice patterns in the 5' UTR result in three transcript variants encoding the same extracellular matrix protein. Mutations in this gene are associated with Doyne honeycomb retinal dystrophy. [provided by RefSeq]
