Western Blot: KMT6/EZH2 Antibody [NBP2-17087] - Sample (30 ug of whole cell lysate) A: H1299 B: HCT116 C: MCF-7 7. 5% SDS PAGE gel, diluted at 1:1000.

Various whole cell extracts (30 ug) were separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with EZH2 antibody (NBP2-17087) diluted at 1:1000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

Cross-linked ChIP was performed with HeLa chromatin extract and 5 ug of either control rabbit IgG or anti-EZH2 antibody. The precipitated DNA was detected by PCR with primer set targeting to CCND2.

Background

This gene encodes a member of the Polycomb-group (PcG) family. PcG family members form multimeric protein complexes, which are involved in maintaining the transcriptional repressive state of genes over successive cell generations. This protein associates with the embryonic ectoderm development protein, the VAV1 oncoprotein, and the X-linked nuclear protein. This protein may play a role in the hematopoietic and central nervous systems. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]
