Flow Cytometry: CD11a/CD18 Antibody (hu1124 (Efalizumab)) - Chimeric [NBP2-52686] - Flow-cytometry using the anti-CD11a research biosimilar antibody Efalizumab. Human lymphocytes were stained with an isotype control (NBP2-52638, panel A) or the rabbit-chimeric version of Efalizumab (NBP2-52686, panel B) at a concentration of 1 ug/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a AF488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody and cells analysed on a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.

Background

The CD11/18 complex of glycoproteins are dimers comprised of a common beta chain and individual alpha chains (CD11a/18 or CD11b/18 and CD11c/18). CD11a/18 is a receptor for C3bi, a complement component, CD11b/18 is Lymphocyte Function Activator, and CDD11c/18 is a lectin-like glycoprotein thought to be important for mediation of cells to other surfaces.
