Background

Eotaxin-3, also known as CCL26, is one of two cytokine genes grouped on the q arm of chromosome 7. As part of the Cytokines family of secreted proteins, Eotaxin-3 is involved in the immunoregulatory and inflammatory process. This gene shows chemotactic activity for peripheral blood eosinophils and basophils and also binds to the chemokine receptor CCR3. It also contributes to the eosinophil accumulation in atopic diseases such as asthma and atopic dermatitis.

Limitations

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.
