Western Blot: Calretinin Antibody (3G9) [NBP2-50042] - Analysis of recombinant protein solutions using mouse mAb to calretinin, NBP2-50042, dilution 1:1,000: [1] protein standard, [2] calbindin, [3] calretinin, [4] parvalbumin, [5] secretogogin. This antibody reacts only with calretinin, and does not bind to other related calcium-binding proteins.

Immunohistochemistry Free-Floating: Calretinin Antibody (3G9) [NBP2-50042] - Analysis of rat cerebellum section stained with mouse mAb to calretinin, NBP2-50042, dilution 1:500 in green, and costained with chicken pAb to calbindin, dilution 1:2,000 in red. Following transcardial perfusion of rat with 4% paraformaldehyde, brain was post fixed for 24 hours, cut to 45uM, and free-floating sections were stained with the above antibodies. The calretinin antibody labels interneurons in the granule cell layer, while the calbindin antibody stains Purkinje neurons and their dendritic processes in the molecular layer of the cerebellum.
