Background

Steroid receptors are ligand-dependent intracellular proteins that stimulate transcription of specific genes by binding to specific DNA sequences following activation by the appropriate hormone. Androgen receptors (AR) have been found in a variety of tissues, including reproductive organs, central nervous system and skeletal muscle. The corresponding gene for the androgen receptor is NR3C4.

Limitations

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.
