Immunoprecipitation: SNX16 Antibody [NBP2-61226] - Detection of Human SNX16 by Western Blot of Immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-SNX16 antibody NBP2-61225 used for IP at 20 ul per reaction. SNX16 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-SNX16 antibody NBP2-61226. For blotting immunoprecipitated SNX16, NBP2-61225 was used at 1:250. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Background

SNX16 encodes a member of the sorting nexin family. Members of this family contain a phox (PX) domain, which is a phosphoinositide binding domain, and are involved in intracellular trafficking. The function of this protein has not been determined. This gene results in three transcript variants encoding two distinct isoforms.
