Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: SLC7A5/LAT1 Antibody (BU53) [NBP2-50465] - Analysis of a FFPE tissue section of human testis using 1:200 dilution of SLC7A5/LAT1 (BU53) antibody. The staining was developed using HRP labeled anti-rabbit secondary antibody and DAB reagent, and nuclei of cells were counter-stained with hematoxylin.

Flow (Cell Surface): SLC7A5/LAT1 Antibody (BU53) [NBP2-50465] - A cell surface stain was performed on Raji cells with SLC7A5 (BU53) antibody NBP2-50465AF647 (blue) along with a matched isotype control NB600-986AF647 (orange). Cells were incubated in an antibody dilution of 1 ug/mL for 20 minutes at RT. Both antibodies were conjugated to Alexa Fluor 647.

Background

SLC7A7 is the light subunit of a cationic amino acid transporter that dimerizes with the heavy subunit transporter protein SLC3A2 (CD98). It is expressed on epithelial cell membranes where it transfers cationic and large neutral amino acids from the cell to the extracellular space. Defects in SLC7A7 are a cause of lysinuric protein intolerance.
