Background

GPCR73B is a Prokineticin/EG-VEGF Receptor. Prokineticin 2 acts through this receptor to regulate the Super chiasmic nucleus-controlled sleep/wake cycle as well as feeding and endocrine circadian rhythms. GPCR73B expression has been reported in brain, ovary, salivary gland, small intestine (ileocecum), testis, and thyroid. No human ESTs have been identified.
