BALB/C mice were injected with purified recombinant rat prohibitin protein.
This is specific to 30kD protein known as Prohibitin. Prohibitin is an evolutionarily conserved protein located in the innermembrane of mitochondria. Prohibitin shows antiproliferative activity and has been proposed to play a role in normal cell cycle regulation, replicative senescence, cellular immortalization, and tumor suppression. This antibody cross reacts with mouse, rat, and pig.

Test in a species/application not listed above to receive a full credit towards a future purchase.
This antibody is reactive against pig. Please note that this antibody is reactive to Mouse and derived from the same host, Mouse. Additional Mouse on Mouse blocking steps may be required for IHC and ICC experiments. Please contact Technical Support for more information.
This product has a prediluted size available. If a 6mL or 7mL pre-diluted size is purchased this product can be used Neat (without further dilution). Use recommended dilution for the concentrated vials only.
