PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human/Mouse PKC theta Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4368) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for PKC theta at approximately 82 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the12-230 kDa separation system.

Background

PKC theta (PRKCQ) is a calcium-independent phospholipid-dependent serine and threonine kinase that belongs to the novel PKC subfamily. PKC theta plays a critical role in several aspects of T cell biology. PKC theta knock out mice develop autoimmune disease. PKC theta functions through the activation of NFkB and AP1 transcription factors.
