Background
NgR2, also known as reticulon 4 receptor-like 2 and NgRH1, is a 60 kDa
glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored protein that is expressed
primarily in the brain. It contains eight leucine-rich repeats that are
flanked by cysteine-rich sequences at both the N- as well as the
C-terminus. Membrane-anchored NgR2 can be solubilized through the
action of phospholipase or an unidentified MT-MMP to generate a 46 kDa
soluble receptor. Mature human NgR2 shares 48% aa sequence identity
with human NgR3. It also shares 96% aa sequence identity with mouse and
rat mature NgR2.
Limitations
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are
guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.
