Background

MRPS7, or Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein S7, consists of a 242 amino acid isoform that is 28 kDa, and is involved in the manufacture of proteins within the mitochondria. Researchers are currently conducting experiments on the relationship between MRPS7 and a variety of diseases and disorders, including pseudoxanthoma elasticum, pneumonia, mycobacterium tuberculosis, and genetic disease.
