S. frugiperda insect ovarian cell line Sf 21-derived recombinant human Lymphotoxin alpha / beta
Specificity
Detects human Lymphotoxin alpha beta heterotrimers in direct ELISAs and Western blots. This antibody detects an epitope in the Lymphotoxin beta subunit. In direct ELISAs, this antibody does not cross-react with recombinant human (rh) Lymphotoxin alpha , rhAPRIL, rhBAFF, rhTNF‑ alpha , rhTWEAK, rhEDA‑A2, rhEDA, rhTRAIL, rhVEGI, rhTRANCE, rhFas Ligand, or rhOX40 Ligand.

Background
Lymphotoxin beta is a type II transmembrane protein member of the TNF ligand superfamily and is now designated TNFSF3. Lymphotoxin beta associates with Lymphotoxin alpha to form two types of heterotrimers, Lymphotoxin alpha 1 beta 2 and Lymphotoxin alpha 2 beta 1. Lymphotoxin beta is expressed by activated CD4 T cells, unpolarized IL‑2‑secreting effector T cells, and Th1 effector cells.
Limitations
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Primary Antibodies are guaranteed for 1 year from date of receipt.
