ICAM-3/CD50 was detected in immersion fixed human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) using Mouse Anti-Human ICAM-3/CD50 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # BBA15) at 15 µg/mL for 3 hours at room temperature. Cells were stained using the NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (red; Catalog # NL007) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Background

Intercellular Adhesion Molecule-3 (ICAM-3, CD50), a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily, binds the leukocyte integrins LFA-1 (CD11a/CD18) and alpha _d/ beta ₂. ICAM‑3 is expressed on leukocytes and epidermal Langerhans cells. It may play an important role in T cell stimulation by Langerhans cells. ICAM-3 has not been identified in the mouse.
